Hey, I’m Verena, it’s so lovely to meet you!

I am a Registered Nutritionist specialising in child nutrition.

I grew up in Munich, Germany, where I studied Nutrition Counselling. Subsequently, working as a nutritionist and personal trainer, I helped my clients reach their fitness goals. After coaching over 100 clients in three years, I had learned a lot! Firstly, regular exercise and good nutrition have a big positive impact on mental and physical health. Secondly, regular exercise and good nutrition do not necessarily translate into weight-loss. Thirdly, it is difficult to change long established habits.

At the end of my studies, I felt like I had more questions than answers. To get to the bottom of this, I decided to advance my studies. I moved to London and completed my master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Public Health.

After my studies, I Co-Founded ChewyMoon, a UK based, healthy children’s snacks company. I worked closely with parents and children, to develop healthy kids snacks. My passion for child nutrition was born. Consequently, I worked relentlessly to deliver health and nutrition messages across the country.

Kinder Nutrition

Kinder Nutrition was born out of passion and burning need for a kinder approach to child nutrition. Sadly, there is a lot of misinformation about child nutrition circling around. Therefore, it is my mission to help parents gain confidence in feeding their children well. I help families across the UK implement positive meal patterns, so that children develop a natural, relaxed relationship with food and most importantly, feel good all around.

My nutrition practice is built on experience, scientific evidence and compassion. At Kinder Nutrition EVERYONE is welcome! I celebrate body diversity, and honour differences in size, age, race, ethnicity, gender, dis/ability, sexual orientation and other attributes. In other words, my services are inclusive, accessible and safe for all.

If you have any questions, please ping me a message!

What is a Registered Nutritionist?

I am registered with the Association for Nutrition. This means I have accredited qualifications and I follow practice standards for scientifically sound evidence-based nutrition. I attend regular CPD training, to keep informed about current research, government guidelines and best practices.
